82" wide x 3 3/4" thick x 8"-10" deep.  Depth grows to 12" at cutoff knot located 16" from left end, and again at knob located 32" from right end. Mixed medium and dark brown color on irregular shaped face, which dishes under from top shelf around center of mantel. Face shows branch tips and some worm track in addition to cutoff knot and knob noted above. Mixed color on top and bottom with knots, splits and burled grain.
